Mercury & Autism

If you are visiting HAPI because of the recent letter to People Magazine, please check the following links for information that we believe should have been included in their article titled "Desperate Measures", published September 27, 2004. Mounting scientific evidence clearly supports a causal link between mercury, vaccines, and autism spectrum disorders.

Here's the letter to the Editor of People Magazine:

To the Editor:

I am writing in response to your September 27, 2004 article titled "Desperate Measures" which dismissed the link between vaccines and
autism.

As the director of the non-profit organization Health Advocacy in the Public Interest, which seeks truth, hope, and help for victims of autism, I would be remiss in not providing you with the many studies that exist which clearly link mercury in vaccines to autism. Mounting scientific evidence supports a causal relationship between vaccinations and numerous preventable health problems and disabilities, including autism.

People Magazine, as well as its readers, can learn more about the science behind vaccine-induced autism by visiting the National Autism Association's library via our website at www.hapihealth.com

Sincerely,
Dawn Winkler
Executive Director
